Cookie policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar browser technologies used by this version of Faith Alone. It applies to the shop and interactive world on the same website address. It explains what is actually present, how your choices work, and how to remove saved information.

Current configuration: no analytics, advertising pixels, social embeds, or cross-site advertising identifiers are included. Site preferences and the game features you choose to use rely on browser storage.

01. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small value a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage keeps information within the browser for the relevant website address; it does not automatically accompany every web request. Session storage is similar, but normally lasts for a browsing tab’s session, subject to browser behavior.

The same privacy concerns can arise from technologies with different names. A value is not exempt from a relevant rule merely because it is called local storage instead of a cookie. The site’s own preference and game code primarily uses local storage. Normal file caching also helps a browser reuse downloaded resources; the package does not use the cache to create a cross-site advertising identifier.

02. Current storage inventory

These names are provided so you can identify the site’s records. The shop does not create game progress merely because you read a category page. Game storage is used when you enter and use the world.

03. Necessary service functions and optional categories

The preference record remembers your privacy choice. Game settings and saves support the game experience you select, including continuing the mission and remembering controls. They are not used as an advertising profile or visitor-analytics database.

Analytics: not in use. The package contains no analytics service that records page views or sends a gameplay stream to us.

Advertising: not in use. No ad pixel, retargeting service or cross-site advertising integration is included.

A service feature and a tracking purpose are not interchangeable. If a later feature requires consent under the applicable rules, it must receive appropriate controls before its storage or access is enabled. Necessary storage cannot be used to conceal an unrelated optional purpose.

04. Reject all, Accept all and Customize

Reject all keeps optional categories off. Accept all accepts only the optional categories actually offered in the current configuration; because none are active, it does not start analytics or advertising. Customize shows what is active and lets you save a preference. Disabled analytics and advertising controls indicate that those services do not exist in this build.

Essential service behavior stays available with either main choice. Refusing optional tracking does not prevent reading the shop, contacting us, or entering the world. The panel does not treat scrolling, silence, use of the menu or agreement to general website terms as permission to add tracking.

Where consent is required, it must concern the particular purpose and remain withdrawable. The stored preference is not permission for an unannounced future analytics or advertising partner.

05. Changing and refreshing a preference

Use Cookie settings in the footer, in the navigation’s Information section, or in the game’s logo/options panel. Reopening and saving a different choice replaces the prior choice for this browser and website address.

The site requests a fresh choice after 180 days or when the consent-notice version changes. It does not continually extend the preference simply because you visit another page. If browser storage is unavailable, a choice can apply while the current page is open but may need to be made again on another visit.

A preference on a Cloudflare preview hostname is separate from one on al0ne.faith. It also does not automatically transfer between devices, browser profiles or private-browsing sessions.

06. Global Privacy Control and other browser settings

If your browser exposes Global Privacy Control, the preference panel acknowledges it. Optional tracking remains off. No sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted-advertising service is active with or without that signal.

Other browser controls, including third-party-cookie blocking, private browsing and a legacy Do Not Track signal, do not switch on tracking. Their exact effects depend on the browser. They do not communicate a deletion request for correspondence already held by us. A request concerning that information can be made using the privacy policy.

07. Hosting, security and external services

Cloudflare serves website files and can process technical connection information. Depending on domain-level security configuration and a visitor’s interaction with a security check, its services may also use necessary security technologies. The names and durations depend on the service actually activated; this notice does not claim that an unobserved Cloudflare cookie is set on every visit.

The package itself does not set a Cloudflare analytics beacon or an advertising cookie. For provider information, see Cloudflare’s policy. Instagram, X and YouTube are linked rather than embedded; their own rules apply after you follow those links.

08. EU/EEA, UK, Canada and US visitors

EU/EEA and UK storage rules can require consent for non-essential access to a device, even when the information is not personally identifying. Exemptions for transmission or a specifically requested necessary service are limited; an optional marketing purpose does not become necessary simply because it benefits the site. See the ICO’s storage guidance.

Canadian consent and transparency requirements, and US state rules on sales, targeted advertising and opt-out signals, can also apply according to their scope. This site uses the same optional-tracking-off configuration rather than activating a more intrusive default based on your location. Regional privacy rights and contact routes are described in the privacy policy.

09. Deleting site data

Your browser’s privacy or website-data settings can remove this site’s records. Before deleting them, copy a reward code you wish to keep. Removing game storage can erase mission progress, settings, exploration state and companion saves; we do not hold a cloud backup of them.

Clearing only traditional cookies may not remove local storage in every browser. Use the control that clears the site’s complete website data if that is your intention. Conversely, changing graphics settings in the game does not necessarily delete mission progress. The site does not require you to reset the game to reject optional advertising.

10. Changes and questions

The inventory must be updated when the actual configuration changes. New optional services need their own described purposes, applicable controls and a fresh choice where required. No optional service is enabled solely by this policy mentioning it as a possible future feature.
